Hi all,
This isn’t asking for a specific skillset, but looking for those with a range of skills and technical backgrounds operating equipment. It’s a start-up, so might be a good opportunity to get on the ground floor of some new manufacturing technology.

Mark

Production Operator and Technician

About Us

From a team that has been instrumental in the development of leading 3D printing and advanced manufacturing technologies comes the biggest development yet. At higher strength and lower density than titanium, carbon fiber composites hold the potential to change the world by unlocking novel design architectures that deliver unparalleled performance at lighter weights. Despite this potential, the complexity and cost of designing and manufacturing these anisotropic materials has limited their use to high-end, niche applications. Arris Composites has solved this problem and some of the top companies in the world have taken notice. New design latitude and improved performance provides competitive advantages for leaders across the industrial and consumer markets. Your view of composites is about to change.

Hi Mark,

I hope you are doing well!  I recently took a new position at Arris Composites after working at Natel Energy for nearly four years.  I had tremendous success at Natel hiring technicians out of Laney College, and I'm hoping we can recruit similar outstanding team members for Arris.

Arris is a startup, based in Berkeley, that produces composite components with higher strength and lower density than titanium at a cost on par with injection molding.  Our customers are major players in consumer electronics, aerospace, and automotive, and we are growing rapidly.  It is an exciting, fast-paced environment, and I know Laney graduates would do well here and enjoy the opportunities for learning and growth. .

We are hiring a number of Production Operators and Technicians. Would you be able to please share this job posting with your network? Also, do you have any upcoming career fairs?

Thank you!
