Hi all,
This Friday (first Friday of October) is MANUFACTURING DAY!

Although, to modify the adage my mom used to tell me when I asked why there’s a mother's day and fathers' day, but no children's day (because every day is children’s day!) - let me say “Every day is manufacturing day” :-)

1) Students, educators, parents, etc. - to see what companies are hosting tours, you can go to:  https://www.mfgday.com/events?country=US&state=CA#filter
Note, not all tours are happening on Oct. 4, some might be happening on other days - and some of the tours are closed events (usually arranged with local students coming in to visit).

2) Companies that are hosting tours, please register on that same website. Your tour doesn’t have to be on Oct. 4, or even be open to the public (there's an option to show that it’s Invite Only). We want companies to register so that those not involved in manufacturing (especially students and educators) are aware of all the cool stuff that is made here in the Bay Area.

Thanks and have a great week.

Regards,
Mark
