FYI. This Saturday (Oct. 5) Lam Research is having a large hiring event (looking to fill 150 positions) from 10 am - 1 pm in Livermore (1 Portola Avenue Livermore, CA 94551). Details are in the attached flyer.

They’re looking for electro-mechanical technicians and assemblers. The assembler position is an entry-level position ($18 and up) while the technician positions will require training or experience.  Lam is a large company and there are good opportunities for advancement.

Community college students - if you need / want to work now and you also want to continue working on your certificate, you can talk with them about the assembly positions and the possibilities of moving into a technician role as you gain experience and training. And if you’re going to school now and can only work part-time, see if they’re open to a part-time hire until you can step into a full-time role.

Educators, please post and forward on to your students.

Regards,
Mark

Good morning Mark,

I hope all is well. As you may know, our recruiting team is hiring over 100 assemblers for Lam Research in Livermore. I posted the job on Job Speaker. Our recruiting team is hosting a job fair on site at Lam on Saturday,10/5. (Please find attached the job fair flyer) Hiring managers will conduct on the spot interviews. I’m requesting to have this distributed to educators, students and alumni. Would you be able to assist in distributing? Thank you!

Kind regards,

Patti
