*Looking for a manual tube bender that will be bending tubes to a blue print. Will need to be able to read the blue print and understand 3D. Prefers someone with recent experience doing this as they don’t want to train someone. 
Function & Responsibility
  • Independently set up and operate manual tubing benders to produce high purity gas lines per engineering drawing specifications.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Interpret engineering drawings and setup the bender with the required tooling.
  • Operated a Di-Acro manual tube bender.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges to inspect parts to the required dimensions and tolerances.
  • Collaborates with engineers, production personnel, programmers, maintenance or others to resolve fabrication issues.
  • May provide training to other team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Ability to setup and operate a manual tube bender
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Understanding of basic GD&T principles.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such multiplication and trigonometry as fabrication requires.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work with team members.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisor.
  • Ability to keep required job schedules.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience operating a Di-Acro manual bender
 
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
