Hi,
CNC machinist position in Richmond.
Even though they’re asking for 5+ years of experience (and an A.S. degree), apply even if you don’t fit that requirement but feel like you have the skillsets.
In the end, they want someone that can do the job, not that has certain numbers on their resume.
You’ll want to give examples of what you can do (maybe include pictures of parts you’ve made, or drawings, etc.).
And this is true for all jobs that are out there. Don’t be shy if you feel you have the skillsets they need, but not necessarily every requirement they list. You’ll need to make a case, of course, of why they should consider you. And that’s what
a good Cover Letter is about.
Regards,
Mark
