We are posting the following position. Range $22-28/hr depending on experience.

Maintenance Mechanic

Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment’s, facility, fixtures and systems.
Ensure projects and assigned tasks are being carried out.
Minimize production downtime through quick repairs and correction.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, filter change, etc.).
Assist with facilities maintenance (repairing and treating structures such as floors, sinks, walls and roofs).
Keep maintenance shop in clean and orderly manner. Accountable for security of all tools, supplies and parts stored in the shop.
Report activities, status of repairs and equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Follow lockout/tag out safety procedures during services and repair.
Use personal protective equipment as required.
Duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

Should have at least 3-5 Years of relevant experience
Experience working with tortilla chips manufacturing equipment (conveyors, pump and motors, industrial mixer, industrial fryer, tortilla oven, packaging equipment, etc.)
Knowledge in welding
Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, Internet, etc.)
Trained in GMP (a plus but not required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Ability to multi-task and be flexible, willing to work overtime on occasion, and be asked to work swing or graveyard shift
Collaborative and team oriented with great communication skills
-Requires some physical exertion such as recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as lifting up to 35 pounds.
