Hey,If you’re a student that has an interest in the semi-conductor / micro-electronics industry, and have always longed to be on TV but don’t have the voice for American Idol, or the abs for the Bachelor, then here’s your shot!
Roadtrip Nation (info below) is looking for students to do an RV tour to talk to professionals in the industry.
More details below and at
this
link.
Thanks,
Mark
Teachers, please forward on to any students that you think might be interested.

Hi,
We have an opportunity which is open to any of the students in the BACCC network, especially those who are looking to explore a career in technology.
We have partnered with
Roadtrip
Nation, the makers of
a PBS series with
young folks who drive around in a big green RV to meet professionals in fields they are interested in, exploring what they do. They will be filming an episode specifically regarding the microelectronics and semiconductor industry, and they are currently looking
for applicants who are interested in doing the road trip to explore those careers. The
application is live at this
link, and we also have other resources attached for social media or an email template and flyer if you are interested. Is this something you could send out
to the BACCC membership, to forward to students?
If
you or your students have any questions, please send them to my colleague Berton Mahardja. He is cc'd here or can be reached at bmahardja@semi.org. We'd
be happy to help get the word out to BACCC students any way we can. While we cannot influence Roadtrip Nation's final decision on geographic locations, it would be incredible to have Bay Area community college students represent their schools and explore careers
throughout Silicon Valley and beyond.
Thanks
much!
