Just wanted to let you know that we have slots available in some of our Saturday classes in the Machine Technology program at Laney:

1) PUMPS (MACH 208) - Ed Herger (1pm - 6 pm)

 - Description: Introduction to theory, operation, and maintenance of industrial pumps.

    

2) HYDRAULICS / PNEUMATICS (MACH 206) - Ed Herger (9 am - 1 pm)

 - Description: Introduction to theory and operation of hydraulic systems: Hydraulic principles, components, symbols, and applications from systems development and troubleshooting perspectives. Emphasis on hydraulic components and their operation in hydraulic circuits. Maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for systems, system components and manufacturing assembles.

3) Intro to CNC (MACH 30) - Ed Lloyd (9 am - 3:30 pm)

 - Description: Introduction to programming of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines using standard programming methods and CAD/CAM software: Emphasis on safety procedures, tool and part setups, and machine and controller operation.
