Hi all,
Someone asked for some sample resumes, so I’ve attached some examples here. There is no “one" best resume format, and some of the attached resumes might be a little easier to read, or have the important information stand out better than the others.

Look them over and see which one you like best, and then maybe use that as a starting point.

Some quick suggestions:
 - for different jobs you might need to have slightly different resumes tailored for each job.
 - always include a cover letter
 - check for grammar and spelling errors (best to have someone else review it for you).
 - don’t exaggerate your skills. If a job lists skill levels that you might not have, make a case in your cover letter as to why you will be able to grow into those skills quickly and that they should give you a chance (of course, you have to be in the ballpark with your current skills :-)

Later in the semester we'll have resume writing workshops, but you should have a draft resume already done to bring to that workshop - so start one now!.
