Subject: SolidWorks contracting opportunity

Susan,
My name is Wil Coleman and I took your CAD Modeling with SolidWorks class back in the fall of 2011. It was a great intro and it put me in a position to get some great 3D models for my portfolio and eventually get hired on here at Advanced Prototype Engineering. We're a small company that does prototyping and machine shop setup and we have a big deliverable that's going to require more CAD work that I can handle by myself.

We are looking for some CAD freelancers to help draw machines that go in a shop floor plan. The machines are manual, CNC, injection mold, an industrial robotic, to name a few. Proficiency in SolidWorks is required and familiarity with Adobe Illustrator would be helpful

Here's a description of what kinds of things they would be working on:
- 3D CAD models of machine and manual tools from 2D drawings from vendors
- Creating orthographic projections of machines and apparatus for installation and setup process
- Organization and data management for machine specs

If you're still teaching the class then I'm sure there are some quality candidates currently enrolled or from previous semesters. I know it's pretty early in the semester, but if there's anyone you can think of please fwd this to them and ask them to provide a resume and work samples.

Please let me know what questions you have for us.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,
Wil Coleman
