The Electrician Assistant’s goal is to assist with all activities at the NEXTracker Center for Solar Excellence(CSOE). He/she perform day to day tasks at that NEXTracker’s HQ yard facility. The ideal candidate has electrical safety training, mechanical construction experience, and general knowledge of hand and power tools. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provides support for all activities at the NEXTracker CSOE (A state of the art, 3-acre R&D / Sales and Marketing Yard, and Micro-grid)

• Works safely in all activities.

• Assembles/Disassemble Solar Tracker systems.

• Acts as a spotter for operators moving forklifts and other construction equipment.

• Able to take instructions, manage time, and work on small tasks independently.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Some general construction experience required.

• Solar experience, and some electrical training required.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

• Ability to safely work with electrical components, ladders, power tools, hand tools etc.

• Forklift operation necessary.

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$31.42 USD - $43.20 USD Hourly
