Join us on Thursday, October 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM for a technology showcase of industrial microscopy and non-destructive testing equipment at Laney College in the machine technology department, sponsored by Evident.
Department chairperson Adam Balogh is hosting Evident (formerly Olympus Scientific Solutions) for a showcase of their technology, including the new addition of an STM7 measuring microscope in the department's metrology lab as well as a demonstration of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) instruments used for weld inspection and flaw detection.
You can get hands-on with the technology and learn about how Evident supports many industries in the Bay Area through its products.
Laney College is located at 900 Fallon St. Oakland, CA 94607. The machine technology department is located in room G100 at the corner of 7th St. and Fallon St.
