What You’ll Do
Fabricate and assemble various electro-mechanical systems for experimental execution with high attention to detail
Facilitate installation, assembly and troubleshooting of battery test stands
Document and organize device assembly notes for performance traceability
Assist in creating engineering documentation like Build notes, SOPs
Routinely coordinate with engineers to diagnose and troubleshoot test station related issues
Monitor and offer recommendations for keeping battery testing infrastructure up to date
What We’re Looking For
1 to 3 years of fabricating, assembling & testing electromechanical systems
High degree of comfort using machine shop tools, hand tools & heavy machinery like forklift
Familiarity with electrical work such as wiring, soldering, and cable construction
Awareness of lean concepts to maintain inventory and organize workflows
Strong communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
Comfort using digital tools: Asana, Slack, Confluence, and GSuite among others
