Dear Laney (and other community college students),
We’re looking for volunteers to help out at the annual California Industrial & Technology Education Association (CITEA) Conference on March 27-28, 2015 at Laney College in Oakland, CA.

We’ll pay for your registration, and you’ll get into the conference for free AND you’ll get free food (breakfast, lunch, dinner). And while this conference is geared towards teachers, there will be presentations and demonstrations that you will find interesting.

If you’d like to volunteer and attend, please contact me ASAP to let me know.

Regards,
Mark

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

If you teach machining, engineering, welding, graphics, CAD, carpentry, automotive technology, or wood technology in a California K-12 system or community college this is the conference you should attend.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues throughout the state who are leading the way in incorporating hands-on activities into their curriculum. We're at the beginning of a renewed emphasis on hands-on curriculum in our schools and this is a great conference to learn and network.
