Hi All,

The Automotive and Machinist Apprenticeship Program is holding an entrance exam for any potential apprentice candidates on November 16th from 9am-12pm. It will be held in the conference hall at Local 1546 (10260 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland CA 94605). This is a no cost testing event, and applicants may come anytime between 9am-12pm to take the test with no prior sign up needed.

Testers will not be required to bring anything except a valid ID. Scantrons and pencils will be provided. Applicants are required to have completed high school or GED and be at least 18 years old.

Passing the test does not guarantee you a position. If you pass, your information will be sent to our participating employers who will contact you if they are interested. This test is for potential apprentices in the Greater Bay Area.

Please find attached a flyer with the testing information. If possible, please share with any students in your school’s automotive or machinist classes.
