JOB DESCRIPTION

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Manual Machinist to setup up, operate, and machine complex prototype components on manual mills, lathes, saws, and grinders. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

• Setup up, operate, and machine components on manual mills and lathes
• Machine tight tolerance and critical components 

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure everyone is wearing the proper PPE and working safely
• Ensure we maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Help engineers and technicians with their projects 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of manual machining experience
• Mastery of manual milling and turning
• Mastery of cutting tools
• Ability to set up and indicate complex and high tolerance fixtures
