Our facility in Newark, CA is currently accepting resumes for a Maintenance Technician.  This position inspects, troubleshoots and repairs equipment and performs other related duties as required.

Responsibilities include:

·      Inspects and troubleshoots plant equipment

·      Ability to operate maintenance shop/hand tools

·      Performs repairs as needed to pumps, refiners, gear boxes, belt or chain drivers, conveyors, mobile equipment, rolls, bearings, clutches, etc.

·      Performs basic welding and torch work

·      Ability to read blue prints and technical drawings

·      Knowledge of basic electrical and use multi function tester meter

·      Performs rebuilding of pumps, gearboxes, air and hydraulic cylinder/valves, etc.

·      Performs alignment of equipment/machinery

·      Ability to read and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic schematics

·      Works extended hours and responds to repair calls at any hour of the day to keep mill in operation

·      Capable of working on a team

Qualifications include:

·      High school education or equivalent

·      Welding certificate (basic) desired

·      Prior industrial maintenance experience desired

·      Ability to operate forklift and man lift desired
