- 1 year industrial mechanical experience required
- Mechanical troubleshooting experience in packaging and/or high-speed/continuous process environment
- Precision measurement for meeting tolerance needs
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings required
- Basic computer skills required, advanced skills preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot motors, bearings, lubrication, gearboxes and mechanical power systems, pumping systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of timing systems, both mechanical and electrical
- Predictive maintenance experience preferred (thermography, tribology, or vibration analysis)
- Primarily will work offshifts, most weekends, and holidays
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled high-speed production equipment
- Maintain and time precision equipment for metal forming
- Disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment such as gearboxes, pumps and mechanical drive trains
- Interpreting blueprints, schematics, data trending and equipment manuals
- Troubleshooting and correcting electrical and mechanical problems in a fast-paced environment
- Working in a team or as an autonomous group performing work orders and providing technical support
- Development and training opportunities as needed
