I spoke with someone at SF Made and she said they were still looking for someone. They mentioned Laney students specifically (because they’re aware of our program) but I know that there are students from other colleges that meet their criteria.

This is a great company, with a lot of (good) history, so check it out.

FYI. Pay is around $22.50 to $25 per hour

This isn’t a machining position but focused on equipment maintenance. Heath is a well-known maker of ceramic goods (plates, cups, etc.) and has been around since the 50’s. This is a unique opportunity if you’re interested in becoming part of more of an artistic manufacturing endeavor.

Hi Matt and Mark,

Do you have any Machining or Industrial Maintenance position?  Heath is looking for someone who has a higher level of mechanical knowledge but is also willing to start out by helping with things like event prep— Heath offers full benefits, 401k, union membership, etc.

Maintenance Technician Heath Ceramics

Best,
~Claire
