specialize in gravure cylinder engraving for large format printers and consumer

Our Berkeley location has an immediate
opening for a Machinist level 1 person to operate a Summit lathe to turn
straight external copper plated cylinders within .001
We are seeking a motivated person that
also has the ability to learn and operate additional cylinder finishing and
engraving related equipment.
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
Essential
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate lathe.
Computer skills.
General understanding of CNC type equipment.
Self-starter.
Ability to accurately fill out daily
documentation
Experience:
Three to four years’ prior machine shop experience working in a fast paced
environment.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
Salary:
Start, $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
