Job Title: Industrial Technician
Department: Bottling Operations

Reports to the Director
of Operations and will be assigned at the discretion of management to assume
responsibility for operation and maintenance of lines and personnel on their
assigned shift.
Ø Candidate
must be able to work in various capacities, specifically equipment operation,
welding, electrical troubleshooting and repair, mechanical troubleshooting and
repair
Ø Process
operations consist of delivery of wine, operating and adjusting high speed
filling/packaging equipment
Ø Execute
all Sanitation, GMP and QC practices
Ø Drive
lift truck/clamp lift
Ø Perform
PM’s on all manufacturing equipment.
Ø Assignments
are complex and require knowledge of various methods, tools, codes, procedures,
and equipment/material characteristics.
Ø Candidate
will need to demonstrate initiative, team leadership, and self motivation on
safety, performance and quality
Ø
This job description reflects management’s

Ø Ability to work at heights up to 45 feet
Ø Ability to operate various types of machinery to
include, but not limited to, lift trucks, dump trucks, pallet jacks, hand
trucks, etc. May include the operations
of any or all processing equipment including refrigeration compressors,
chillers and condensers
Ø Must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 50
pounds at varying frequencies
Ø Possess
the ability to work in a fast pace environment under pressure
Ø Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping,
standing, and twisting in the performance of various task in the production
environment
Ø Must
have three (3) years repetitive manufacturing experience.
Ø Must
have three (3) years mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
experience.
Ø
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Ø
Execute operation and maintenance of all pieces of
equipment on the line to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost
effective manner.
Ø
Maintain awareness of processes on the line and
make suggestions and take action to increase yield and/or improve quality. Implement process improvements on the line.
Ø Must
have demonstrated to management an above average ability to analyze and take
appropriate action on problems associated with bottling equipment.
Ø Must
have an extensive knowledge of methodical troubleshooting techniques.
Ø
Must be able to troubleshoot electromechanical
issues when they occur on the line including, but not limited to, installation,
diagnosis, calibration, maintenance and repair of equipment and electronic
devices.
Ø Must
be able to perform major repairs, overhauls, and installations. Assist with bottling final check of
equipment.
Ø
Must perform steps to comply with sanitation and
quality control standards for the line.
Ø
Set up and perform start up, shut down, and
preventative maintenance on the line.
Ø
Perform line changes.
Ø Knowledge
of all packaging equipment operation and energy sources.
Ø Must
have a positive attitude towards the job and the duties assigned.
Ø Must
provide examples of demonstrated initiative.
Ø Must
have demonstrated to management a history of personal conduct worthy of this
classification. This conduct includes
history of willing compliance with the attendance policies, safety rules, and
disciplinary policies.
Ø Must
maintain work performance standards as set by the Department Manager in order
to retain this classification.
