Dear community college students,
Are you interested in teaching and helping out a local high school? If so, read on.

Last year we piloted a program where a Laney student was a teaching assistant (TA) at a high school machine shop for a few hours a week. It was a great experience for the high school students, teacher, and the TA.

We’re looking at expanding the program this year - both to include more types of skilled trades and engineering, and to work with community colleges & high schools throughout the Bay Area.

We have a number of high school teachers who have already expressed interest. These are volunteer positions, but we’re looking for funds and might have money to pay you as well.

If you’re interested in hearing more about being a TA, please register below and we’ll get back to you with more details.
