Seeking: Carpenter, CNC guru, furniture design and build apprentice.

Design Trifecta is founded, Henry Leggett, a master wood craftsman with
over 20 years experience.  Henry earned a Masters in furniture design
from London Metropolitan University (formerly London Guild Hall) and has
worked for Berkeley Mills, Dominic Ash  (and a few others) before
starting his own business a year ago.  We are looking for our first part
time assistant builder.
We are investing in an additional workshop and CNC router to expand our
custom furniture business and start batch production of unique knife
block designed by Henry the 360 Knife Block.

We are looking for a self-starter, independent worker who wants to work
on CNC and excels at problem solving.  We want someone motivated to work
on their own to learn and practice fine woodworking – Design Trifecta is
a brand based on quality.  Someone who values perfection and wants
access to modern equipment including CAD drafting and CNC router in
addition to traditional craft tools.  We would like someone who can grow
with our business – this position starts as a in school apprenticeship
and can easily grown into a full time shop manager position.

Job Description
$25 per hour – part-time – willing to adjust hours to fit with your
school schedule.
Manage a CNC in addition to other standard wood working equipment.
Build from CAD drawings – desire to learn/design in CAD a plus
Spray Finish – work with a variety of clear and paint finishes
Expansion into prototyping and ability to influence factory set up and
expansion.

Requirements:
•       Regular weekly hours availability - we are flexible about exactly what
hours those are and can accommodate current students.
•       Shop is based in San Francisco Bay View district.
•       Attention to detail essential.
•       Patience.
•       Desire to learn and grow with a fast growing start up in San
Francisco.
