Hi Mark,
Hope all is well with you. Inland Metal Technologies has some more Welder openings. Currently we have 7 entry level welder (MIG & Robotic) openings (for those with up to 1 year welding experience, and minimum 6 months formal training in welding or equivalent).
As mentioned before, Inland Metal Technologies is located in Hayward, with 260+ employees, and are the #1 growing privately held manufacturing company in the Bay Area for 2015.
These are regular full-time positions (with medical, dental, vision, paid vacation and sick time, 401k) for swing shift which is 2:30pm-11:00pm. With this schedule, a hired applicant could continue to go to school while working, depending on what classes they are enrolled (such as if they were only in morning classes).
Attached is a flyer with the job description. Do you have any students that may be interested?
If so, could you give them the attached flyer and post it? They can email their resumes to jobs@inlandmetal.com, which goes to me. I did post the job using the Laney College online system but didn’t receive any applicants.
Thank you for your time and any assistance you may be able to provide!
Sincerely,
John Davern

Subject: Laney College Job Fair
Hi all,
Thanks for those who were able to make it to the Laney Job Fair on Tuesday. We already had one student hired as a result, and hope that you were able to find candidates that you’re following up with.
Of course, not all students could make the fair, so if you have job postings you can send me electronically, I’ll send them out to our mailing list.
And if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the event, please let us know.
Mark
