FYI.

Alameda County Workforce Development Board is having an event to celebrate Manufacturing. It’s a panel session to educate students, parents, and teachers about the excellent careers in manufacturing.

Please forward this on to teachers, students, parents and others who would be interested in learning more about manufacturing.

This event is on Oct. 19, 6-8 pm at Hayward City Hall.

Regards,
Mark

Subject: Manufacturing Day Career Panel

Hello Rebecca and LaShonda,
Please find attached the flyer for our upcoming Manufacturing Strikes Back! career, in support of National Manufacturing Day. Our audience is parents, teachers (K12, ROP, Adult Schools, Community Colleges) and youth – but especially parents and teachers to educate them about the changing dynamics and career opportunities in this industry for youth. I’d greatly appreciate you sending the information to your networks, and especially any parent groups you’re associated with. I’m also happy to forward this to any contacts you suggest. We have a great and varied panel of innovative makers and manufacturers this year and we want to expose as many people as possible to the great information on career pathways they will share!!

Can you also please post it to the CPT groups?

Thank you and please let me know if you have any questions. I’m out of the office next week but will be happy to answer anything when I’m back.

Kind regards,
Samantha
