Dear Welding, Biotech, HVAC, and Machining students,

Laney College has been selected as a featured site in an upcoming Bay Region CTE Marketing and Branding campaign video shoot and they’re looking for students to help out.  The production company shooting the video wants to have an in-person casting call on Wednesday 11/16 (or possibly another date).  I realize it’s short notice, but they’re trying to move quickly on getting the marketing work done. They’re interested in the following departments:

 - Welding
 - Biotech
 - HVAC
 - Machining

THEY’RE STILL LOOKING FOR HVAC, MACHINING, & WELDING STUDENTS.

We are seeking faculty members and students of all ages (must be over 18) and ethnicity. This is a non-speaking video shoot.  The production company will shoot students interacting with each other and their instructors in the actual learning environment of the programs. Selected participants will receive gift card valued at $75 as a "thank you" for their participation. Plus, they could be included in videos marketing the community colleges!

If interested, SIGN-UP ASAP (by 11/15) at: https://goo.gl/forms/X4DnQoqIpAWMrOfc2

The production company will then reach out to those who sign up, and potential participants will receive instructions for the on-campus, in-person casting call planned on Wednesday 11/16/16 (sometime between 9-5). Those who are selected will need to be available for filming on Wednesday 11/30.

Best regards,
Mark Martin
