Chabot College has a full-time machine technology position open. Applications are due 11/30.

Typically, minimum quals for a teaching position are an associates degree (or equivalent) and 6 years of industry experience. If you have a bachelor’s degree, you'd only need 2 years of industry experience (which, to be honest, doesn’t really make sense to me but that’s the way it is).

If you have the experience and degree (or know someone that does) please check it out. Chabot has a great program and facilities, and they recently passed a new bond measure so they’re well-funded.
