One quick update, a GPA of 3.5 is desired (not necessarily required), so if yours is lower you could still apply and make the case in your cover letter why you’re a great candidate!

Dear (current) Laney College machine tech students,
Lawrence Livermore National Labs has an internship available this summer for students currently enrolled in Laney’s machine technology program. You should have a GPA of 3.5 or above and be a US citizen.

If you are interested in the internship, please send a resume and cover letter to
 - Pete Schoenenberger (Manufacturing Engineering Section Superintendent) schoenenberger1@llnl.gov

Copy Louis Quindlen (lquindlen@peralta.edu) on the email that you send

Also, LLNL will be at Laney’s internship career fair which is happening Thursday, Feb. 9 from 4-6 pm (Laney Student Center Cafeteria). If you get in your resume early enough to review, then they may be able to interview you at the career fair.

Regards,
Mark
