Tesla Inc. is hiring! We are hiring for a hands-on role on our highly automated manufacturing floor. You will work on the equipment that manufactures the most advanced electric automobile on the market. This job is in Fremont California.

The Role

Equipment Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing 

The successful Maintenance Equipment Technician candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to perform daily tasks required to ensure the operational availability of automotive production equipment. He/she will have skills in industrial maintenance, encompassing the following areas:

·      Electrical

·      PLC

·      Robotics

·      Conveyor systems

·      Mechanical

 

Other skills that are helpful:

·      Welding

·      Machining

·      Hydraulics/Pneumatics

 

The successful candidate must be dedicated to perform troubleshooting skills on Automotive manufacturing equipment. He/she must also be dedicated to the daily tasks / TPM / PM and follow up actions required.  Moreover, they must be dedicated to conducting the routine actions and documenting any / all abnormalities.  They will be integral to driving equipment OEE improvements to meet the production requirements.


Responsibilities

·       Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and quality issues
