Factory Maintenance – Union City

Northwood Design Partners is a growing manufacturer of wood office furniture in Union City.  We are seeking an individual with multiple skills to engage and resolve our maintenance needs.  Responsibilities and necessary skills include:

Electrical:

·         Experience and confidence with 240-480.

Mechanical:

·         Repair and maintenance of large machines to include large panel saws, CNC machines, edge banders and other standard wood working machinery.

Small Tools:

·         Replacing brushes and bearings in routers and belt sanders.

Pneumatic and Vacuum Systems:

·         Large compressor, storage tanks and special machine vacuum pumps.

Rolling Stock:

·         Fork lifts, trucks and autos

Sourcing:

·         Comfortable with laptop and internet to source special items.

Record keeping and discipline:

·         Capable of maintaining routine maintenance schedules, and necessary records.

Communication:

·         Ability to train employees on correct methods of use and to explain to management specific issues or problems.
