 Maintenance Technician 
Are you great at troubleshooting equipment? Comfortable working on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and other production equipment? In addition, you will also be doing preventative maintenance and general building maintenance. Experience in the food industry and working on flow‐wrappers is a plus. You work closely with our bakery staff and report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Today, Donsuemor supplies to the largest blue chip coffee chains and specialty grocery retailers in the United States and in Canada.

This opening is on our swing shift, hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. 
Schedule is Monday to Friday but may vary with some weekend work required. 
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES 

 Responsible for repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. 

 Performs maintenance duties as shown on the preventative maintenance schedule 

 Completes repair requests 

 Collaborates with other maintenance staff on installations of mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment. 

 Performs routine facility maintenance and facilities projects 

 Performs janitorial maintenance and cleaning and minor building repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor 

 Maintains equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt 

 Prepares and updates maintenance reports and logs 

 Follows all requirements that support our Global Food Safety BRC certification. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

 Minimum 4 years' experience working maintenance in a manufacturing environment that includes electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system maintenance and repairs and some construction. 

 1 – 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing environment. 

 High School Diploma or GED, or a demonstrated work history of equivalent work experience. 

 California Driver’s license Class C with record acceptable to Company insurance provider 

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES 
 Ability to lift heavy items (40-50 lbs), go up and down ladders, work on top of and/or maneuver under and around equipment, bending, sitting, carrying and walking 
 Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general troubleshooting. 
 Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. 
 Ability to read and understand manuals, SOPs, blueprints, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams. 
 Good communication, facilitation, problem solving and analytical skills 
 Ability to work productively alone and as a member of a team 
 Strong computer skills, able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and maintenance management software (CAMS) program 
 Knowledge of Food Safety requirements a plus
