Hi Mark,

Good afternoon, I asked Leo and he said that we are looking for:

-a MIG/TIG welder
-that does specialized welding (build up) on stainless.
-stellite on inconel, stellite on 410 cond T

However, there are inconsistencies with our welding jobs, when we have no line-up of welding then we always have jobs for

-5 axis machining
-we have advance 5-AXIS CNC machines
-we make parts for aerospace which is not always ordered by high qty, we need to make set-ups daily

Environment
-very fast pace environment
-attention to details is necessary
-we try to minimize the labor hours (but effective) to increase profit

Best Candidate
-with good attitude and is able to follow orders.
-should be able to work under pressure
- willing to learn
-has the passion to build things and would like to move ahead in life
-willing to take online classes

When we find the right candidate, we pay for schooling and training on courses that will benefit Holt. For example DMG-Mori Academy.

Our company started on 1933 in San Francisco, then moved here in Redwood City on 1942. We've been here for a long time and Leo would like to keep the company running,

Please feel free to contact us if you have more questions. Thank you.

regards,
Karen

Thanks Karen.
Can you give us more info about the experience level required, and the type of person that will fit into the Holt Tool organization?

I know of a couple of really sharp students who worked there and it didn’t work out. So that we don’t waste your efforts or the students, more info on what you’d like might be helpful in finding the best person to meet your needs.

Thanks,
Mark
