Hi all,
Zone 7 Water is looking for a Level II Instrument Technician.

https://www.jobaps.com/Alameda/sup/bulpreview.asp?R1=17&R2=4994&R3=01

THE POSITION
Under general supervision, installs, inspects, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs metering and recording instruments, controlling apparatus, data logging and display equipment, communications, radio telemetering and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems used in the Zone 7's Water Treatment, Production and Distribution System; and to perform other related work as required.

Level II means that you have experience, although a certificate can count towards some of that experience. Check out the details. Give plenty of details in the application on your previous jobs (related to this position), and your education. They sometimes have to make a subjective call on who meets minimum quals.

If you get past that, then you can show your abilities on the tests and interviews.

Good luck.
Mark

P.S. Note that the pay for this position is $93,204.80 - $113,256.00/year. It’s not an entry-level position.
