Hi all,
A class I would suggest that you all take if you’re going to be involved in industrial maintenance of any kind is one on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s). PLC’s are the devices that control most industrial equipment.

Having a knowledge of them will open up job opportunities for you.

Laney has a class in the Spring (T & Th, from 7:30 pm - 9:45 pm).

DVC has a class on MW in the evening.
Chabot has a class as well, but not sure it’s offered in the spring.
Los Medanos also has one.

Other colleges might offer a PLC as well. Check out their websites or you can search all the Bay Area colleges by going to:

Type in the name of the college, and what you want to search for.

Good luck.
Mark
