Moulder Operator Wanted

 

Lowpensky Moulding is a family owned wood moulding manufacturing plant.  We’ve been in business for over 50 years.  Located in San Francisco, we specialize in manufacturing custom wood moulding patterns (crown, base, casing, siding, etc.)

As a small business, we’re always looking for skilled people who can help in multiple positions.  Right now we need a moulder operator apprentice.

A smart, mechanically inclined person is a must.  We need someone who is not afraid to learn new skills and who can work as part of a team.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Setup and run a moulder (machine that mills boards into finished profiles)

2. Take responsibility for the product we ship from that machine

3. Generally pitch in to help the company succeed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be able to work in 1/16 fractions of an inch (1/32 preferred)

2. Excellent attendance required

3. Use of measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc)

4. Basic math skills

5. High school diploma or equivalent

 

Training is available, but any candidates MUST be mechanically inclined.

If you cannot read a tape measure, please do not respond.


Full time position

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Mon-Fri

Health care (100% paid by Employer) – starts after 90 days.

Profit sharing plan and paid vacation start after 1 year of employment
