Saildrone is a Series A, venture-funded startup based in Alameda, and we are in search of a Composite Technician. Although it's not a CNC Machinist position, the skills learned at Laney College will transfer well.

At Saildrone, we design and manufacture wind and solar powered autonomous surface vehicles. We have revenue, and we are backed by Social Capital, The Capricorn Investment Group, Lux Capital and The Schmidt Family Foundation. If you could forward this message to your student and recent alums, it would be *greatly* appreciated. In the short-run, we are looking for fifteen (15) people. This is an excellent opportunity for your students to join a small team and make a difference. Please let me know if we can set up a time to chat.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Mark
