Scandic Springs, a Bay Area leader in precision metal stampings for 50 years, is seeking a candidate with strong punch press stamping experience to be the supervisor/working lead for the stamping department.

The applicant should be a journeyman-level setup person, ideally with supervisory experience. Necessary experience includes set up and running of progressive, compound, and blanking dies; conditioning of materials and use of servo feeders; troubleshooting dies; and minor die maintenance. The stamping department is supported by Scandic's in-house team of toolmakers, wire EDM, and facilities technicians.

The applicant should have their own tools, be able to read and understand prints, and use optical comparators for inspection of finished parts. Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.

Pay is up to $35.00/hour, and full benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, 9 paid holidays plus sick leave and vacation, and more. Because we believe in continuous improvement and supporting careers, Scandic has a 100% tuition reimbursement for continuing education.
