As discussed, the positions we have open in Oakland are for container and chassis mechanics.  The requirements for the position are varied, but almost anyone who works with or has worked with their hands could be a candidate for the position.  If not fully trained, we will assist with learning the following skills:
 
Containers:
 
·         Welding
·         Carpentry (wood floors)
·         Straightening (metal bending)
·         Cleaning (pressure washing)
·         Inspection
 
Chassis
 
·         Tire repair
·         Brake system repair
·         Electrical system diagnosing and repair
·         Welding
·         Suspension repair
·         Inspection
 
It is important that any candidate have some experience in at least one or more of the areas of skill listed above.
