Minimum Requirements for a Machinist Internship

Completion of at least 2 semesters with a minimum GPA of 2.5 in an accredited college certificate program in Machine Technology

At least 18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Pass pre-employment physical exam, drug screen, and background check

Valid Driver’s License

Must possess a valid TWIC card

Must possess a valid BATC card

Physical/outdoor work, including climbing

Self motivated to work independently and be able to work with team members

Basic computer skills including working in windows based computer system

Scroll down to the bottom of the selected posting and click on Apply for this opportunity this will take you to the page where you may apply for the position

Once your students have applied for the internship they should expect the following:

They will be notified as to the next steps in the online assessment processes.

Once students have been taken the pre-employment test, they will be notified of whether or not they have passed or failed within 24 hours of taking the assessment.

Please note that all students that passed the test will not necessarily receive an interview.

Those selected for an interview will receive a notification in advance in order to make arrangements to interview.
