OAS is looking to hire journeyman level and entry level fabricator positionsWe are ready to invest training in a committed applicant, but preference will be given to applicants who posses any of the following craft-skills:
- Tape measure/measuring skills
- Laying out / jigging Weldments
- Welding joint prep
- Basic wood working
- Basic finishing skills (sanding, cleaning, prep, applying finish)
- Reading shop drawings
- Tig welding mild steel
- Tig welding other alloys (stainless/brass/copper/alumin
um) - Mechanical skills (static assemblies and moving parts)
- Installation experience
- Solidworks CAD
- Creating shop drawings
- CNC or manual machining
- Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Machine Maintenence
REQUIRED soft-skills:
- Reliability.
- Timeliness.
- Good attitude.
- Persistance:
- Daily dedication to the shops ongoing goals and the task at hand.
