FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

DVC'S ADVANCED MANUFACTURING CAR SHOW

Pleasant Hill, CA, April 23, 2018 - Come see and appreciate classical and modern cars at the second annual DVC Car Show! The DVC Car Show will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 in lot 2 of the Diablo Valley College campus in Pleasant Hill.

Last year the DVC Car Show displayed over 100 cars and attendance was well over a 1,000 people. This year is going to be bigger and better with more cars, vendor booths, and food trucks!

There is no cost to come to the DVC Car Show. If you want to show your car, there is a $25 entry fee. If you are a student wanting to show your car, the entry fee is $5 (student ID required).

Proceeds from the DVC Car Show are used solely to support the DVC Engineering Technology programs including its machine shop. These proceeds are used to pay for student projects, such as this year’s Remote Operating Vehicle underwater competition, upgrading equipment, and assisting with the cost of DVC engineering summer camps for high school students.
