Hi Mark,

Happy Friday! Claire and I just met with an SFMade business yesterday who's hiring for a Manufacturing Technician. Seriforge is manufacturing a new way to automate carbon fiber fabrication.

They're looking to hire someone with mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and experience in either CNC machining or industrial sewing. Because they design and build all of their own machines they are willing to train their hires to use them. The pay starts at $20 an hour and they offer benefits. This is a fairly early-stage company and it's a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor.

I would really appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with the students at Laney College, especially the ones who have participated in the CNC Machining program. This is a full-time opportunity in San Francisco so it would be best for someone who's graduating soon. Thank you in advance!

Warmly,
Rima
