Subject: Looking for a QC Technician (Varian Medical Systems in Palo Alto)
Date: June 21, 2018 at 1:55:40 PM PDT
Hi Mark,
My name is Jeff Revenaugh and I manage the Quality Engineering team at Varian Medical Systems in Palo Alto. I have an open Req for a QC Technician and I received your info from a conference in Oakland a few weeks back where the topic was Manufacturing Programs
across local Bay Area colleges. I just called Mike Atpio from De Anza and left him a VM regarding my open req and I wanted to follow-up with you to see if you’ve got contacts from San Jose, Santa Rosa or Laney colleges on their QC Technician programs (The
flier noted that those 4 schools had QC Tech programs in development).
Here’s a link to the Job Posting on our website (and attached Job Description) but I’d prefer to get direct contacts to bypass the long list of applicants that I already have (that aren’t meeting my standards). I love what you guys are doing and want to support
the movement.
