While their ad says they would prefer to have someone with laser, plasma, or water jet experience, I spoke to the owner and they’re willing to train someone on their water jet.
The most important skillsets to have would be:
- knowledge of computers
- experience with CAD
- basic mechanical knowledge and ability to measure parts
If you want to work in SF, this would be a great place to take a look at. They’re a small shop, so you could get the opportunity to contribute in a big way.
