Dear Mark:
Chabot College is looking for mentors in our Computer Numerical Control program!    Mentors will support faculty and students to learn the advanced aspects of CNC including three-axis computer numerical controlled drilling and milling machines; basic programming and operation of numerical controlled lathes; and advanced contour milling.
 
This is a Professional Expert position which only requires extensive experience in the field. Duties include: working one-on-one with the instructor to recommend current practices, support student projects and be able to operate multiple manufacturers of lathes/mills including HAAS, Fadal and ProTrak. 
 
This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced machinist to encourage the next generation!  Hours are flexible and will not exceed 12 hours per week.   Salary is $60 hour.  Applicant will be required to submit application, TB clearance and LiveScan results.
