Hi Mark,

I believe we have met in passing at an event or two in the Oakland maker community, and I have also seen you speak about the work you do. I am the owner of a local advanced production shop that is looking to hire a one or two people, so I thought I'd reach out.

Our work is diverse, interesting, and also challenging. It's a combination of creative one-off jobs and mass production work. We do CNC laser cutting, routing, and knife cutting, die cutting, and fabrication. Mostly wood, plastic, fabric, composites, etc. No metal but we might add that capability in the future. You can see more about what we do here: www.automatic-arts.com.

I'm looking for one or two people who have an interest in, aptitude for, and better yet experience with this kind of work. I would also be open to hiring an ambitious young person who would do manual labor and pick up more advanced skills over time.

I have attached job posting. Please let me know if you have anybody in mind, and feel free to share my posting.

Thank you!
Josh
