Hi Mark,

I have a few entry level manual machinist positions available at Howlett Machine Works in Berkeley.  We are a small family machine shop that caters to testing facilities nation wide.    If you know of any beginner to intermediate student machinist that shows interest in the field can you send them my way.  We offer competitive pay and benefits. 

Responsibilities: • Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments • Modify parts and materials to improve overall production • Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects • Perform routine maintenance on machinery • Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments • Operate a manual lathe machine, milling machinery 

Qualifications: • Previous experience in machinery or other related fields • Familiarity machine tools and equipment • Strong analytical and mathematical skills • Strong attention to detail
