Subject: Metal Shop Teacher .60 FTE at SVHS OPEN
Date: June 1, 2022 at 7:51:58 PM PDT
To: Mark Martin <xxxxxx@peralta.edu>

Mark,

Please let our Bay Area colleagues know that a .60 FTE Metal Shop Teacher position is open at Sonoma Valley High School. The job posting is attached. Sadly, this position has opened because the teacher of the last 18 years, Mark Lea, passed away suddenly last month.

Anyone interested in this position can call me to learn about the program and shop.I had been substituting for Mark over the last few years and took over the program as a sub to finish this school year.

If you have a teacher credential, please apply through EDJOIN.ORG on the job posting if you are interested.
If you or someone you know has Machine Tool Technology and Manufacturing Experience and want to teach, YOU CAN! You do not need a Teacher Credential! Sonoma County has a Beginning Teacher Program where you will earn your Designated Subjects Credential while you teach.

We must not lose another Manufacturing Technology Program!
