Dear Bay Area Skilled Trades programs,
On April 13 we’ll be having our working meeting with Tesla. This is for Bay Area community college / high school skilled trades programs in Manufacturing and Transportation (auto, machining, industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, welding, engineering).

DETAILS

Skilled Trades programs / Tesla Working Meeting
 - Fremont training facility (note: there will NOT be a tour of the factory)
Address: TBA (next to the main factory)
 - April 13, 2018
 - 10 am - 2 pm (lunch will be served)
 - RSVP here  (https://goo.gl/forms/g2FibMUS2OF21cE73)  We’ll send more details at a later date.

The focus is to strengthen and build the collaborative relationships between Tesla, community colleges and high school programs. During the meeting we will network with technical managers, learn more details about the skilled trades needed by Tesla, and discuss programs that could benefit students, colleges/HS's, and Tesla (apprenticeships, internships, externships, etc.). This will be an opportunity for us to discuss how we better collaborate to benefit our students and community, and to help the largest manufacturing employer in our region remain successful.

For teachers, you're also welcome to bring one student that might be interested in working with Tesla. They’ll get a chance to talk to Tesla managers, and students can give feedback to Tesla to help them in their recruitment efforts.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you on April 13.

Regards,
Mark Martin - Adv Manufacturing DSN (Deputy Sector Navigator)
Pamela Gutman - Adv Transportation DSN
