Dear K-12 educators,
I wanted to reach out to you about the service we’ve developed to help connect teachers in the Bay Area with industry volunteers working in Manufacturing, Engineering, and the Skilled Trades.

We call the service Volunteer Match and it allows teachers to input requests for volunteers (in mfg, engr, and the skilled trades) that can help out in the classroom. Once you sign up and input a request, volunteers from industry can browse and then contact you to visit your classroom (or set up a plant tour, donate supplies, judge a competition, etc.).

Once we get enough requests in the system, we’ll start reaching out to industry volunteers. While we can’t guarantee every request will find a match, we’ll try our best.

Thanks,
Mark
